What’s your advice for new home buyers?
Think about what your life will look like over the next 3-5 years. Life happens fast and most people stay in their first home for less than 5 years. Make sure your home will accommodate what you want your life to be like for the next few years.

What is your motto or personal mantra?
Make the most of every day, you never know how many you’ll get.
Where did you grow up?
I grew up in western Nebraska. North Platte and McCook to be specific. Coming from small town Nebraska, I grew up with “Mid-West Values” and I really do believe in being totally upfront, honest and treating people the right way.
What is something that people would be surprised if they knew about you?
I restored a 1967 Mustang with my Dad and Grandpa during high school. It was my first car and I still have it today.
What aspect of your job are you most passionate about?
Giving people clear, honest, and accurate advice, no matter what the situation. I won’t recommend anything I wouldn’t do if I was in your situation. Sometime the best advice is not to do anything different!
Any sports or specific teams you’re a fan of?
Nebraska Cornhuskers, Go Big Red! Kansas City Royals, Kansas City Chiefs
What is on your bucket list?
Someday I want to go skydiving. Not the indoor variety either. Something about jumping out of an airplane seems like an incredible experience.
What are some of your hobbies?
I enjoy working on my mustang and continually looks for ways to make it better, faster, and cooler! I also like brewing beer, Frisbee (disc) golf, watching movies and sports, and spending time with my family.
Before working at NBKC, what was the most unusual or interesting job you’ve ever had?
I did a summer internship with the Southwestern Publishing Company. Basically, I relocated to Massachusetts for a summer and sold educational books door to door. That was quite an experience and I learned a lot about hard work that summer.
What’s your alma mater?
The University of Nebraska – Lincoln.
