Advice for New Home Buyers
You don’t need 20% saved for a down payment, and you should try to keep cash reserves available for after move-in expenses.

“Working with Allen and NBKC bank was maybe the easiest refinance I have ever done. Allen was very straight forward from the beginning, with no nonsense. Closing costs were considerably lower than three competing lenders that I got estimates from. The process with Allen and NBKC was very smooth and completed on time. Would definitely recommend if you are looking for a mortgage loan.”

“I am very grateful that I found Alen and NBKC for my mortgage need. I successfully closed my house purchase this morning because of the time and help that Allen extended to us. From initial phone conversation to submission of application to successfully closing, Allen demonstrated tremendous patience, courtesy and professionalism. He responded to my email inquiries promptly and with clear explanations. He patiently helped me navigated the entire process. The rate he and NBKC gave me is absolutely the lowest and best overall in terms of fees. He also ensured that I closed on time. It was simply a tremendous pleasure working with Allen. I will highly recommend, in a heartbeat, Allen to any of my friends who needs a mortgage professional. Thank you Allen and NBKC.”

“Allen showed patience when we had a few pauses to our refinancing process. He promptly responded to our many questions even if some were redundant. He also had a nice way to explain things that were unclear to us. We will definitely refer friends to him for mortgage-related processes.”

“My honest REVIEW! When I purchased my house in 2008 from the builder and when I refinanced for the first time in 2018 my experience was not so great 🙃. My wife and I decided to refinance again in 2021 because of the low interest rates. We came across nbkc and got to work with Allen, what a difference!!! Allen, was so professional from the start to the and of the loan closing. I truly appreciate his professionalism and therefore I recommend nbkc and Allen Mische.”

“Professional and easy to work with. He was easy to get a hold of and communicated well with the title company and my agent. Had the lowest fees, the best rate and there were no surprises along the way. I recommend him to others and would use him again myself.”

“Once you go with this lender, then you will not get out if you get cold feet as a buyer. This lender will try all means to lock you in. During this 1.5 months, we are not smart and don't have right knowledge at house purchasing, this lender did everything against us by all the wrong instructions. 4days before the loan continency deadline, he sent the loan commitment letter in a second after we told him we want to back out due to the missing square footage, besides he announced to every party that we DO NOT WANT TO PROVIDE documents. He didn't give us the related pre-approval letter and we didn't apply for that related loan, so, his loan commitment letter is invalid, he did fail to provide us the correct commitment letter before the deadlines, but guess what, he has been silent for days, and still continue to lock us in, even we actually can get out legally. He told us the only loan result for us is either withdrawn or incomplete, there is no such “denial” result. He will call you to give you the information, which you will finally realize everything just like us. ”

“He counted the moving expense as an income, he forced us to have the loan amount which was never ever able to be approved based on my income. He jumped to the sellers' side and told them we didn't want to provide the documents but we did provide everything. When we kept noticing him that we didnot want him to be our lender and we no longer authorized him to do any mortgage for us, he disappeared for a week, but behind us, he secretely still kept let the loan go through. Untill the last minute to be forced to sign on the closing documents, we still cannot believe all of that happened to us. As a veteran, we cannot believe we could be cheated and treated in such way. All he told us was more than misleading. In our house purchasing: our buyer agent, this Allen mische were all against us, and they were more than the sellers' party to trap us to buy this house which the seller cheated us for the wall crack, non working furnace, broken roof, missing square footage etc. We realized such a cheating trap, and we can legallly back out, but this lender Allen Mische together with his team manager Jeff threaten us verbally. I have been preparing my paperwork and evidence to see any legal way I can seek.”
