Secure Messaging FAQ

How do I open a secure message?

To open a secure message, you will need to login to your online banking profile with your username and password. If this is your first time logging into online banking with nbkc, you will need to enroll for the service. For personal accounts, you can find more information here. If you have a business account, you will find detailed information in your approval email.

  • Select “Secure Messages” from the menu to access all secure messages you have received.
  • If the message has an attachment, you will see it listed underneath the message. Clicking the “Download” button to the right of the attachment will download it onto your device.
  • To reply to a message, select the arrow in the right hand corner of the message.
  • To delete a message, select the trash can icon in the right hand corner of the message.

Can I share a secure message with someone else?

Do not share your secure message username or password with anyone. If you would like to share the message sent to you, please respond to the sender asking them to forward the message and they can include your additional contacts in future secure emails.
