“In a world controlled by greedy corporations eager to syphon every dollar they can from the consumer, you can be certain that Brad Pointer is going to be a solid ally. He stands out as an incredible human being who really cares about his customers and goes above and beyond to help you close on your house. We just completed a homebuying experience in which our builder/seller (to remain unnamed in this review) made a series of preventable administrative errors that ultimately delayed our closing date by 2.5 weeks and cost us thousands of dollars in temporary lodging expenses. If we didn’t have Brad for a loan officer, I’m certain closing would have been pushed back even longer. Next, I cannot imagine a loan officer with wider availability and better response time than Brad. Anytime I had a question, I’d send an email and usually get an almost immediate response. ****This included after-work hours and on weekends.**** No matter how busy he was or what he had going on in the office, Brad always made time for us as his customers. It is hard to believe, but somehow he always gave us the impression that we were his number one priority. That kind of customer service and attentiveness just do not exist anywhere else that I know of. It is important to note that the process of dealing with our builder, possibly the worst on the market, combined with the complete lack of our realtor’s engagement throughout the process, was a nightmare for everyone involved. Brad had to deal with a lot and put in a great deal of extra work for our case. So, even though our case was a true pain, he never made it feel that way. We called in when we probably shouldn’t have, and he always made us feel welcome to call. Brad has gone above and beyond the call of duty for us more times during the process than I can count. But here are a few notable examples: -When shopping for loans, Brad gave us his very best offer up front. Our other prospective lenders were just trying to “make a quick buck,” so their initial offers were not nearly as attractive. Then, when they realized they just couldn’t compete with what Brad was offering, they sent very confusing loan estimate sheets, where they subtracted numbers here, and added them there, etc. My wife and I were diligent and used Excel to compare “apples to apples” so we could see exactly which offer was the way to go. In the end, one other company was very close to Brad’s offer, but it was Brad’s integrity and forwardness that won us over. The other (unnamed) dishonest lender lost the sale because they were just being greedy. So early on, we could see that Brad cared about us as the customer more than he cared about lining his wallet with green paper. -He got our pre-closing disclosure and our closing disclosure to us well in advance. After reviewing each when it arrived, I had several questions and I emailed Brad requesting a phone call. It seemed like I didn’t have to wait at all, and Brad was happy to explain everything in detail. -When our builder/seller finally moved our closing date (for the third time) to a date that seemed like it *might* work as long as the stars aligned, Brad did what he had to do and made the stars align. He was able to coordinate everything so that our closing documents could begin to be produced with a certificate of occupancy still pending. Without his hard work and resourcefulness, there is NO WAY we would have closed on that date. Closing would have been moved back yet again, and we would have paid even more out of pocket on temporary lodging. -After closing was complete, Brad actually contacted us just to make sure we were doing well and that we were enjoying our new home. So with Brad, you’re not just a customer- you’re a friend. So, my wife and I just wanted to thank him for his hard work and dedication, for always going the extra mile, and for always making us feel like his top priority. He was somehow able to turn a potentially miserable home buying experience into something much more manageable. Brad is the best there is. If you need a reliable, pro-active, hard-working loan officer who is on your side, he’s your man. Thanks Brad.”
