Advice for New Home Buyers

I would advise new home buyers to enjoy the process. There is a lot of information coming from your agent, your appraiser, your inspector, friends, family etc. Remember to enjoy finding the house and trust us to take care of the process after.

Get to know Antonio

What is your motto or personal mantra?

My personal mantra is to stay organized and take really good notes! Even the most complicated things in life are easy step by step.

What is your favorite sports team?

My favorite sports team is the Chiefs! Born and raised in Kansas City, would you expect anything else?

What is something that people would be surprised if they knew about you?

I bet people would be surprised to know that I have renovated and built multiple houses and commercial properties.

What’s your alma mater?

My alma mater is Northwest Missouri State. I believed a bearcat was a fictional animal until my Sophomore year.

What is on your bucket list?

My bucket list includes a lot of travel. Visiting Kyoto for their 2,000 year old buildings is something I would love to do soon.

What aspect of your job are you most passionate about?

I’m passionate about being knowledgeable in my career. When I can make the process not just smooth, but easy for someone and their family makes me happy. I have made lifelong friends from this industry and I don’t think that’s something many career paths can claim.

Where did you grow up?

North Kansas City, Missouri.

What are some of your hobbies?

I like to dabble in a lot of different things. In my free time you can find me building up my EDC collection, woodworking in my shop, building computers, agility training with my 3 dogs, watching scary movies and cooking.

Before working at nbkc, what was the most unusual or interesting job you’ve ever had?

The most unusual job I ever had was working for the Jackson county court house. Did you know there were jail cells on top of the court house? My team was tasked with destroying and/or consolidating older case files. We very quickly discovered that the cell doors still locked and it became a game to trap people in the spooky abandoned jail.
