Brett made the process extremely easy. He was very good at answering any questions and he does so in a very timely manner. You can call, text, or email him and he'll get back to you within a couple hours at most. NBKC's loan is also a very good value. Don't make your loan process difficult, just choose this guy.

My experience with NBKC and with my loan officer, Brett Hensley, was fantastic. I researched many many options and found NBKC to be the best. Brett was great to work with. He called me directly and answered all of my questions without being pushy in any way. I felt like he was on my side throughout the process. He was EXTREMELY prompt in answering my questions than I could have possibly imagined(often answering emails after hours which really blew my mind). I doubt you can find a better bank and loan officer. I am active duty military and used a VA loan.

One item on my bucket list is to scuba dive in Australia at the Great Barrier Reef.

What aspect of your job are you most passionate about?

I’m most passionate about helping fellow Veterans get into the homes they deserve.

I grew up in the small town of Holden, MO.

What are some of your hobbies?

I enjoy boating, water sports and tons of outdoor activities.

Before working at nbkc, what was the most unusual or interesting job you’ve ever had?

I was a Fuels Aircraft Mechanic in the Air Force. I was also an inflight specialist.
